Role & Qualifications

Cristina is a Senior Tutor at Sydney Art School and a qualified Trainer and Assessor.

She holds a
Masters Degree in Painting from the prestigious 'Ion Andreescu' Institute for Visual Arts and a
Bachelor of Adult education.

Cristina will improve your skills to a level you never thought possible.  Her attention to detail is second to none.

Cristina Aura was born in Romania to an artist mother. She graduated from the prestigious 'Ion Andreescu' Institute for Visual Arts

After receiving her Masters Degree in Painting, she moved to Algeria.
There she has pursued her artistic and teaching career and held numerous solo and group exhibitions.

In 1989, Cristina and her family migrated to Australia. She has since worked as an Art Teacher in a variety of High Schools and Institutions, while at the same time, continuing her passion for painting.

Cristina has a fascination with portraiture and that is reflected in her current work.
Cristina's paintings are held in many private collections in Australia, France, Algeria and Romania.

Cristina lives on Sydney's North Shore and is a member of Portrait Artists Australia
