Art Classes are back in 2024 at Epping Leisure & Learning Centre (Under Epping Library).

The Council has freshly renovated the space. 

If you haven't been back to our art classes there you will see the difference.

Our tutors Diamond Wang & Ren Wong look forward to welcoming new and returning students.

We are excited to preview the
Young Archie Portraiture Term Topic

Each week the classes follow carefully designed lesson plans with a structured set of exercises to develop artistic skills.

Each student will produce a major work and will be encouraged to also prepare an entry for the Young Archie Competition where the Art Gallery of New South Wales invites artists between the ages of 5 and 18 to submit a portrait for competition.

The portrait must be of a person who is special to you – someone who is known to you and who knows you and plays a significant role in your life.

There are four age categories:

5-8 year olds, 9-12 year olds, 13-15 year olds, 16-18 year olds

Entry is free and entries must be received by the Art Gallery NSW before 17 March 2024, 5pm

All Sydney Art School students who are chosen as finalists in the competition will also receive a Students Resource Kit valued at $140.
