Jackson Davies is a Senior Tutor at Sydney Art School
He holds a
Bachelor of Fine Arts and a
Master of Cultural Materials Conservation
Jackson has been a finalist and Semi-finalist in the Doug Moran Portrait Prize and Mosman Art Prize. He was the winner of the Northern Beaches Art Prize.
Jackson has held residencies in Sweden and Portugal and his work appears in private collections around Australia.
Jackson is a professional artist based in Sydney. He is inspired by the face and the figure, and predominantly works from life to create paintings that are contemplative and emotive, with a depth of mystery
