Anime & Manga – Storytelling & Page Layout Fundamentals

Designed as a follow-up to the AM session, this 3-hour workshop helps young artists turn their original anime-style characters into fully developed scenes using manga storytelling techniques and professional marker colouring. Students will explore layout, pacing, and rendering styles used by real manga artists—then bring their stories to life with vibrant alcohol markers.
Note: Participation in the AM session is required before enrolling in this PM workshop.
What Students Will Do & Learn
- Plan and sketch a 4-panel manga page or dynamic action poster.
