These hands-on art workshops help students build essential drawing and storytelling skills while exploring their passion for this popular art style.
Anime & Manga Character Design Workshop
Create your own anime-style characters and bring them to life with traditional manga techniques
Anime & Manga – Storytelling & Page Layout Fundamentals
Take your anime artwork further with manga panel storytelling and full-colour marker techniques.
Anime & Manga – Foundation Skills
(9 week course)Build & develop the core skills every aspiring manga artist needs – from character creation to comic storytelling.
In these workshops, students will;
- Learn Anime and Manga Drawing Techniques – Master the foundations of character design, including proportion, facial expressions, and costume details.
- Create Original Manga Characters and Stories – Develop unique characters and bring them to life through professional storytelling and page layout.
- Use Professional Art Materials – Work with traditional tools like dip pens, black ink, and artist-quality markers to create authentic manga artwork.
- Build Creative Confidence – Follow step-by-step demonstrations and receive personalised guidance from experienced art tutors.
Each workshop is designed to suit all skill levels, from beginners who want to learn how to draw anime characters to more experienced young artists aiming to refine their manga illustration and storytelling. Students can choose to enrol in a single workshop or combine multiple sessions for a complete anime and manga art experience.
