Jules is a silversmith and jeweller.
Metal Clay & Silversmithing are her two artist passions. Jules uses a variety of traditional techniques in her work but her favourite things to create is mixed medium pieces made from both metal clay & precious metals such as sterling silver & gold.
Teaching & sharing her jewellery passion enables her to interact with people who love what she loves & that’s such a beautiful thing.
After working with precious metals for several years she discovered metal art clay & wanted to know all about the versatility of this amazing clay that turns into 99.9% pure silver after firing it.
Seeing the excitement when students finish a piece of jewellery that they have created with their own two hands is something Jules gets endless satisfaction from. Ultimately Jules finds teaching to be incredibly rewarding. Being creative is so good for the soul.
Qualifications
Jules is a Certified Instructor (Level 1) for Art Clay Silver.
Career Highlights
In 2017 Jules was runner up in the Society of Arts & Crafts NSW Emerging Artist completion for her depiction of the Windsor Bridge on the Hawkesbury River
