Course Information

A rare opportunity to learn in person from a finalist & winner of some of Australia's most prestigous art prizes

Sally has been a winner and finalist in numerous art prizes in cluding, the  Archibald prize, Doug Moran National Portrait Prize and the Mortimore Prize.   But don't let that daunt you. She loves teaching students who are just starting out in developing their own artistic skills.

In her classes you will benefit from the breadth of her experiences. She draws upon the foundation skills of classical realism mixed with her own discovery of colour and style that she has developed in her own career.

In this art class you will be introduced to techniques to blend colours to create art that provides "likeness" in tones for still life paintings and  portraiture in a way that we have not seen anyone else use before.

Beyond technical skills you will gain insights into the rare skill of how to reflect the soul of your subject.
