Advanced Diploma of Visual Arts

Unit Assessment Workbook for CUAPPR401 Realise a creative Project available.

The Unit Assessment Workbook is available for download from the student portal.

This Unit is eligible for "free" assessment as part of our Pre-Diploma program.

In this unit you will conceive and create a Major Work or Project in your chosen modality for entry into a competition or group/solo exhibition.

You will develop and demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to:

•   experiment with ideas and techniques to
•   find an individual style or voice throughout a creative project that
•   results in a completed work

If you are registered in a Studio Session then you may be eligible for this unit to be assessed for free.

For those of you who have already enrolled in the "Pre Diploma" Certificate IV in Visual Arts course you should have log in details to the Student Portal. Just log in and download the Unit workbook(s).

If you would like to enrol in the Pre Diploma Course then send an email to registrar@sydneyartschool.edu.au to request an enrollment form and access to the Student Portal

What is this program and am I eligible?

To help you get started on achieving your qualifications in visual arts we offer the "Pre-Diploma" program.

In this program selected Units of Competency are eligible to be assessed for free, waiving the usual $200 Unit Workbook and Assessment fee.

Here is what you need to do to be eligible for the $0 Fee:

You need to be enrolled in at least one Studio Session.
You may only submit one Unit Workbook per term for a free assessment.
The unit must be chosen from the list of eligible Units available on the website.

Why 2 web sites?
Students working towards Nationally Recognised Qualifications need to be given additional information and support that was not really possible to be added on to the ".com.au" website.

We have created the sydneyartschool.EDU.au website, This site gives you access to the Student Portal.

It is also be the place where we provide specific information for Diploma and Certificate level students. More content will be added over coming weeks, but it is already live for providing a link to the Student Portal plus some foundation information regarding the qualifications.

The sydneyartschool.COM.au website is still the place where you go to register into Studio Sessions for the moment.

Royal Easter Show Art Competition
The opening of entries for the Royal Easter Show Art competition is approaching

Entries open late October and online entries close 8 Feb 2017.

A number of students have expressed interest in being alerted to art exhibitions and competitions and this is one that we are encouraging all of our artists to consider entering.
