Valeri Jelobinski is a professional sculptor with over three decades of experience creating classical and contemporary works for private collectors, councils, and commercial spaces across Australia. Trained at the Art & Design College of St. Petersburg in architectural decorative plastic and monumental sculpture, and holding a Diploma of Ceramics from TAFE NSW, Valeri brings a rare depth of technical grounding in figurative and classical sculptural traditions to the studio.

His portfolio spans large-scale public commissions — including war memorial statues for RSL clubs in Queensland, civic monuments across NSW, and classical Greek and Roman-inspired figures for private and commercial clients — alongside plaster casting, mould-making, and hand-built ceramics. Valeri also has extensive experience crafting sculptural props for film, video and theatre productions. His teaching draws on this broad practical base, guiding students through life drawing, clay modelling, plaster work and mould-making with the eye of a working monumental sculptor.
