Kristin Hardiman

The Earth without Art is just "Eh"

Kristin is a professional artist and art educator. Her commissioned works are held in private and corporate collections throughout Australia.

She holds a Diploma of Fine Arts and Education from Alexander Mackie CAE - a predecessor to the College of Fine Arts (COFA) at UNSW.

Kristin is also an exhibiting member of Portrait Artists Australia.

 Her mastery of painting and drawing across a wide range of subjects is evident in her work across portraiture, equine art, landscapes and in her "Master's Apprentices" where Kristen created a series of triplet works paying homage to 25 of her favourite artists.

Kristin holds a tertiary Diploma in Fine Arts and Education from Alexander Mackie CAE and has been working as a professional artist and teacher for nearly 30 years. She is also an exhibiting member of the Portrait Artist Australia.

Her work is varied and not limited by medium.
The media used includes pencil, both lead and coloured, pen and ink, charcoal, oils, gouache and watercolours. Work also includes 3D portraits in papier-mache and acrylic paint.

Kristin has taught full and part time with the Department of Education for over 15 years

She regularly had students in art express and achieving Band 6 results. In 2012 one of her students was first in the painting section in the HSC.

Solo exhibition Matilda Gallery, Macksville, 2013 “Master’s Apprentice”. This was a portrait exhibition based on my inspirational artists and included paintings and drawings in a variety of mediums including 3-D painting sculptures.
